The RS232 Split Wire is designed to split one DB9 RS232 connection into two DB9 male connections, allowing the same RS232 interface to be connected to two compatible devices.
It includes 1 × DB9 Female connector, 2 × DB9 Male connectors, and a separate USB power lead for supplying external 5V DC when VCC is not available from the RS232 port.
The USB connection is provided only for external 5V power input and is not used for USB data communication.
This is a passive wiring accessory only. Wireless transmitter modules, receivers, indicators, and other devices must be purchased separately.
